London Museum Guide – Victoria and Albert Museum

The Victoria and Albert Museum is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, representing more than 3000 years of human creativity with a collection of over 4.5 million objects. It is located on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, just a stones throw away from The Natural History Museum and The Science Museum.

The V&A museum has recently undergone a program of restoration and renewal, Some of the highlights of this museum are the Medieval Renaissance galleries, containing some of the greatest surviving treasures from the period, the spectacular jewellery gallery and the stunning British galleries, illustrating the history of Great Britain through art and design.

Free activities take place every day as well as special workshops during the school holidays.
