Newbury was founded sometime after the Norman Conquest of 1066. Newbury was founded at a time when trade and commerce were increasing and there were many new towns created. Newbury Races
If you are staying in one of our serviced apartments and are visiting Newbury for the first time, you may not be aware that Newbury is home to one of the UK’s most famous racecourses. Newbury Racecourse is easily accessible from junctions 12 and 13 off the M4 located just off Greenham Road.
